Richmond CDO Forum approached me with a vision in mind for their upcoming Survey Report for June 2024. They shared their legacy of hosting high-profile business events and looking for a Report Design to match their professional caliber.
Problem Statement
As they deal in surveys and analytical results, they were looking to translate the raw Excel spreadsheet’s data into a visually digestible editorial report that corresponds to their premium brand aesthetics and color palette.
Design Approach
We began by collecting all the brand assets into a single workspace. After several design route explorations, we landed on an aesthetic that was versatile and encompassed Richmond CDO Forum’s branding. A special focus on data visualization helped translate the boring numbers into exciting chart types, various data visualizations, and event photographs.
The Result
After careful consideration and a few back-and-forth revision rounds, a visually and technically sound Survey Report came into being.
